Building Open Schedule
Friday Dec. 11th. building opens at 12:00pm, building closes at 10:00pm
Saturday Dec. 12th building opens at 7:00am, Judging starts at 9:00am sharp, building closes at 6:00pm.
Sunday Dec. 13th building opens at 8:00am, Exhibitors will be released after awards are presented
Directions
From I70 take I65 South to Route 46. Get of at exit 68 on Route 46 and go west till Route 135 and head North to Nashville.
Coop Assignments
All assigned coops must be used for the bird which was entered except for a bird of same breed, variety and sex.
Rock-Red Rules & Regulations
1. All standard and recognized non-standard varieties of large fowl and bantam Plymouth Rocks, RI Reds and Wyandottes are acceptable.
2. Mail entries and fees by Nov. 30, 2009 to: Rick Bond 5244 Lick Creek Road, Morgantown, IN 46160, 812-988-5495 RRckyr@aol.com. Check are to be made payable to the Brown County 4H Club. ENTRIES CLOSE Nov. 30, 2009. Cooping is limited, late entries may be returned!
3. Be sure to specify on entry whether Large Fowl, Bantam, SC, RC..
4. Entry fee is $3.00 per bird, $6.00 for double coops, (Large Fowl only) $9.00 for trios. Once entries are recorded there will be no refunds!
5. All birds must be cooped in before Saturday at 9:00am. No birds will be cooped in before 12:00pm Friday.
6. All varieties will be classified and coop tags will be on cages with your exhibitor number only! After judging and class Champions have been
picked, you may write your name on tag.7. The Rock-N-Red Show will use every precaution against loss or mishap, but will not be held responsible if any occur.
8. The sponsors of the show have final jurisdiction on all matters.
9. The show reserves the right to coop birds as it sees fit.
10. The Show Arena will be locked at night.
11. No birds will be released until the champions are picked on Sunday! Absolutely no exceptions!
12. A display consists of: cock, hen, cockerel, pullet and a old or young trio of the same variety.
13. The show will be responsible only for trophies and specials offered by the show.
14. No express shipments of birds will be accepted unless prior arrangements have been made!
Silent Auction
We will be holding a silent auction at the show. Exhibitors interested in donating or selling birds on a 25% consignment should contact Matt Lhamon when cooping in!
Pullorum Testing
Pullorum Testing is required by the State of Indiana. We will accept valid papers from other states. Papers will be checked at the desk when you coop in or preferably mail with entry. Tester will be on duty if needed.
